The REMCs across Tasmania have been stood up in response to this storm event 01 September 2024.

Councils have set up supoport and/or evacuation centres for their residents.

Dorset Council Recharge Station now open.

Nugget Sellars building at the Scottsdale Recreation Ground from 4:00pm-6:00pm tonight.
Recharge facilities, Toilets, showers and kitchen facilities available.
(BYO- chargers, toiletries & towels).

Riana Community Centre

Sunday 1st Sept - 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Riana Community Centre (Pine Road, Riana) will be open  on Sunday 1st September, from 4pm to 6pm, providing a space for residents impacted by the ongoing power outages to access essential amenities and charge their mobile devices.

West Tamar Council

Sunday 1st Sept 2024 

West Tamar Council  have opened a few centres for people to come and charge devises and will have tea & coffee available

City of Launceston

Sunday 1st Sept 2024 
 

City of Launceston Leisure & Aquatic Centre is open till 6:00pm today and again from 6:00am tomorrow.  
They have shower facilities and ability to charge mobile phones.
