The Bright Futures Fund is launching on 19 June 2026.

The North West Transmission Developments (NWTD) project is upgrading the electricity network across the north and north west, and as part of that, TasNetworks is investing $10 million into local communities through the Bright Futures Fund (BFF).

Upcoming community drop-in sessions

Got a bright idea for your community? Come along to one of our community drop-in sessions being held in Burnie, Ulverstone, Sheffield, Deloraine and Longford between 19 June – 21 June to chat with the team, explore your ideas and learn how to apply.
